Croak-Hey

That's croquet, as the French say it. More fun than golf, on a course your tax dollars already maintain.

About the Field

A Championship Course of Uncompromising Grass

Where the neighboring clubs offer a Signature Jack Nicklaus Design, we offer a public park field of generous dimensions, mowed by Palm Beach County on a schedule we do not control and would not dream of questioning. The turf rewards good shots, does not severely penalize poor ones, and delivers consistently adequate conditions.

Dress code: whites, polo shirts, cowboy boots. Flip-flops tolerated. Both at once is considered showing off.

Overheard on the Field
“I don't play Croak-Hey to make friends. I play to knock my neighbor's ball into the palmetto bush.”

Overheard at the Club
“Croak-Hey is kinda like horse-less Polo. Which is funny because I have a horse.”
— A Palmetto Farmer, who also runs a few acres of pinecones on the side
