A Scheme, Proudly

Friendships are earned, not bought.

JFCC is a scheme created by Paul & Lisa Williams, 30+ year residents of Jupiter Farms, who believe friendships are earned, not bought.

Jupiter Farms is surrounded by snooty neighborhoods built around country clubs, golf courses, and overpriced dining rooms that pale in comparison to our parks, our eateries, our walking and riding trails — and our residents, who appreciate living lives that are unpretentious, simple, open, and free.

Croak-Hey (that's croquet, as the French say it) is more fun than golf, and our big public park fields are already maintained — our tax dollars pay the dues. Fabricant Farms Cafe makes a better clubhouse than any country club dining room in the county, with better food, drinks, and music. Riverbend and Battlefield parks give us over 13 miles of walking, biking, and equestrian trails, plus the most beautiful kayaking and canoeing stream in the state.

What's been missing was never expensive infrastructure or club fees. It was a little community, communication, and coordination — so neighbors who occasionally enjoy some human interaction know where and when to meet.

The clubs around us charge $100,000 to $300,000 just to get in. Our country club costs $20 a year, includes a free sticker for your car, and the dress code allows cowboy boots and flip-flops.

The people make the party.
