Jupiter Farms Country Club ("JFCC," "we," "us") is a neighborhood membership program operated in Jupiter Farms, Florida. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to send you a calendar and reminders, we don't sell anything about you, and you can leave anytime.
When you join, we collect your name, email address, and — only if you choose to receive text reminders — the mobile phone number(s) you provide. Founding Members may additionally submit content for a public Family Page (photo, introduction, and similar details); that content is public by design, is reviewed before publication, and is submitted entirely at your option. We do not collect home addresses and do not publish them anywhere. This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify you.
We use your contact information for one purpose: club communications. That means the weekly email of upcoming member gatherings, a text-message reminder on the morning of a gathering (if you opted in), a welcome note when you join, and a renewal reminder when your membership is expiring. We do not send marketing on behalf of other companies.
JFCC sends event-reminder text messages to members who expressly opt in when joining or thereafter. Message frequency varies (typically a few messages per week, tied to the club calendar). Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership or of any purchase.
Opt out anytime by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at club@jupiterfarmscc.com. After a STOP, you'll receive a single confirmation message and nothing further.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as necessary for the delivery of the messages themselves (our messaging service provider) or as required by law.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period. Your information is shared only with the service providers that make the communications work (email and text-message delivery, payment processing at the point you pay dues), each only to the extent needed to do their job, or if the law requires it. Local business sponsors never receive member contact information.
Unsubscribe from email via the link in any email or by writing to us. Stop texts by replying STOP. Ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely by emailing club@jupiterfarmscc.com — we honor deletion requests within 10 business days. Founding Members may have their Family Page unpublished at any time on request.
We keep member records while your membership is active and for up to one year after it lapses (so rejoining is easy), then delete them. Records are stored in access-controlled systems limited to the people who run the club.
Membership is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; kids appear on Family Pages only through content their own family chooses to submit.
